'Tanzanian Mum's & Bub's Nutrition Centre' Fundraising Dinner - Newcastle

Nutrition Plus would like to invite you to join us for a night of delicious African food to raise funds for our Mum and Bubs Nutrition Centre in Tanzania.

We've teamed up with Compassion, a charity that aims to release children from poverty, to support a facility for pregnant mums-to-be in a community called Mbulu in rural Tanzania. Women are never more receptive to health advice than during pregnancy, and by providing vulnerable mothers-to-be with medical care, nutritious food and education, the rates of maternal and infant death can be reduced and the cycle of poverty can be broken for these families.

Along with raising funds, this dinner is a fantastic opportunity for health care professionals in the area that have a passion for helping women who are trying to conceive or who are pregnant to network and connect (over some delicious food, rather than in a boardroom!).

As the event is free to attend and meals will be provided, we would greatly appreciate a tax deductible donation of around $45 per person to go towards the funding the Nutrition Centre (100% of the donation goes towards the Nutrition Centre). Donations can be made at the link below.
